This is going to be a recap of my entire fun, yet not productive weekend.
So After friday nights festivities, I went to bed way too late to leave way too early for the Poconos on Saturday morning. After an adventure (we accident put on 'road' when it was 'run') and driving around on golf cart roads on a golf course (yes, my car is that small) we found our friends cabin. It was absolutely beautiful and decorated all shabby chic.
That day we spent lots of time playing cards and just having fun. We went out to a pizzeria and the bowling.
I always get a little excited when friends say we're going to go bowling, especially when it's a new group of friends. I was in a bowling league when I was younger and I love unexpectedly beating a group of guys at a sport.
I had the second high score of all night with a 139 =]
Then we watched some movies and sat around and talked until late.
The next morning was Renaissance which is the church where I'm a youth leader. We taught and learned about the Sabbath. Which I was admittedly not too excited to learn about until I learned what it was really all about.
The sabbath is more than just taking a day and not doing any work. It's a time for you to stop the business and craziness. It's a time to reflect and to appreciate God and all He has done for us. It's about trust.
I got back to school around 4 pm but decided to go home to unwind and take a personal sabbath.
So my mom, Isabella (my niece one half of the twins) and myself went to dinner and just relaxed all night, or as much relaxing as we can do with two six month olds.
It was good.
Work was not, but it's a job and it's not supposed to be.
Jobs are unnatural.
To anyone reading this...I did the first three posts wrong. So the newest is how it was actually supposed to be, some way that it can be applied to an academic situation...

lazy friday
So my Monday Wednesday Friday schedule looks pretty much like this
9:00 AM- Children's Literature
10:00AM- Chapel
11:00AM Narrative of Redemption
12:00PM Church History
1:00 PM Lunch
(Wednesday I work from 1-3 PM in the admissions office)
Today I was woken up early. I awoke with a headache, the kind that makes your neck stiff.
I decided to skip Children's Lit. This means that I also skipped Chapel and Narrative of Redemption and only went to Church History.
Then after lunch I went to Planet Fitness with my friend Krista Edsall. After that we went to Starbucks to visit my dear friend Ashlyn who was working all day.
Tonight I had some great fun with friends at our friend Jecca's appartment (Jecca is a nickname for Jessica)
We made little animals out of square felt pieces and had a photo boot to take pictures of us and our animals.
Now we're watching Dirty Dancing Havana Nights with Krista, Krista, and Rachel.
Tomorrow I'm leaving bright and early at 7am for the Poconos! Have to go pack...
